MY RENO RULES

Cycle 4: Externals

Cycle 4 moved outdoors, with a focus on extending living spaces and creating a seamless connection between inside and out.

Across both homes, external shading became essential in shaping how each space is used, offering comfort, protection and a considered finish to outdoor zones.

In House 1, Shaz and Mitch led the facade, while Isaac and Frankie transformed the backyard, creating a cohesive outdoor experience across both sides of the home. Evo MagnaTrack awnings in Spectra Black Bronze 3% deliver a streamlined, architectural finish, providing wind resistance and sun control while maintaining a sense of openness.

In House 2, Michelle and Emma completed the facade, setting the tone for a refined exterior. Nate and Julia then carried this vision through to the backyard, where a folding arm awning in Dickson Halo Noir defines the alfresco zone. Designed to retract when not in use, it allows the space to transition effortlessly between full sun and sheltered comfort.

Across both homes, outdoor shading enhances not just how these spaces look, but how they live. Extending beyond the interior, each solution helps create outdoor areas that feel just as considered, comfortable and complete.

Congratulations to Shaz and Mitch on taking out the win, a well-deserved finish to an incredible transformation.
