Clever design: The LightLock System has been precisely engineered to stop light from entering the room. Its patented U-shaped side channels contain rows of specially shaped microridges designed to trap, absorb, block and deflect incoming light. This detailed design prevents light leakage and eliminates the “halo effect” that often appears with standard blockout blinds.
The perfect fit: Duette® LightLock Shades are crafted to sit securely within the window reveal. When installed as a reveal fit, the LightLock side channels integrate smoothly with the window frame, ensuring minimal gaps and preventing light seepage around the edges.
Ideal applications: Without compromising on style or performance, the Duette® LightLock System is ideal for any space where maximum darkness is essential, including bedrooms, nurseries and media rooms.
The LightLock System is compatible with the 20mm Duette® blockout fabric collection, which offers a range of modern colours and textures to complement different interior styles. The LightLock hardware, including the side channels and top and bottom end caps, is finished in soft, neutral tones designed to blend into surrounding walls. Colour options include Aspen White and Gardenia White.
Duette® LightLock Shades are available with LiteRise operation in Bottom-Up and Top-Down/Bottom-Up designs.
They are also compatible with Luxaflex® PowerView® Motorisation in Bottom-Up, Top-Down and Top-Down/Bottom-Up configurations. PowerView® allows you to control your Duette® Shades with a remote, smartphone or tablet and to create customised Scenes that adjust your blinds automatically throughout the day. You can schedule them to rise at sunrise, reposition to manage afternoon heat or close at night to set the perfect mood for sleep. For added personalisation, PowerView® can be paired with other smart home features, such as lighting, to suit different routines and activities.
