We have been surrounded by shades of brown from dark coffee beans to creamy latte for years and, while these warm neutrals will always be popular, it is time to add some cooler relief.
To reflect this growing trend of contrasting warm and cool colours, we have divided the LUXAFLEX® Window Fashions product range into 2 palettes – The Warm Palette and the Cool Palette.
Interwoven into these trend boards are our 2 new fabric releases. Mauritius and Palais.
Mauritius has a patterned texture, reminiscent of a delicate fishing net, and reflects this key trend by intertwining threads of warm and cool colours together. And on a more intimate scale, Mauritius encapsulates the trend for embracing delicate patterns from nature – tangled and fibrous, fragile and fractured – patterns found in a skeleton of a leaf or the faceted wind of a dragonfly. These patterns have been adapted as texture in a fabric, in chair and furniture design, and in architecture across the globe.
Palais plays with a different dynamic – contrast. Gloss and matt, light and dark, smooth and textured. The combination of these contrasts creates a sophisticated and regular texture, almost like an elongated dot, which plays with light and dimension.
To demonstrate each colour trend, LUXAFLEX® products have been integrated with the most directional colours and materials available to the market including paint colours, timber veneers, laminates, carpets, fabrics and stone.
